A STORY OF PASSION AND FAMILY
The history of Catanzaro begins in 1986, when Marrakech only had few restaurants. Geneviève and Jawad Amrani then had the idea after trips to Europe to open a small family restaurant with pizza as their main speciality. The story then begins with a few tables and a handful of employees. Quickly Catanzaro became the weekend family meeting place and a popular address for business meals during the week. Over the years, the small restaurant has grown twice to accommodate a loyal clientele. In 2021, Catanzaro will celebrate 35 years of uninterrupted activity and Geneviève and Jawad will pass the torch to their son Mehdi and the team to continue writing a great story.
Regulars come for their Madeleine de Proust, tourists for a change of Moroccan cuisine and every day new clients push the door to taste a homely authentic cuisine in a warm atmosphere.

And an unchanging rule that has prevailed since the first menu created in 1986 by the owners: only offer dishes that you like to eat! This results in a generous and varied cuisine with mainly Italian accents, but still leaving room for dishes from other horizons. There is something for every taste !
